The new addition to the ARO portfolio provides a conductive PVDF wetted 1-inch and 2-inch port sizes driven by the EXP pneumatic motor know-how. Compared to machined conductive polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) options, the new pumps offer comparable explosion protection, the same tier chemical compatibility and a leak-resistant design.
The features of the model new conductive EXP pumps include stainless-steel hardware and inserts reinforcing the plastic construction of the pump to reduce leakage. They also function flow price and leak monitoring combined with remote actuation features and are light-weight due to the decrease density of the PVDF materials. The company says the 2-inchPVDF pump is up to 60% lighter than an analogous pure PTFE pump.
