Alfa Laval has acquired LiftUP, a Norwegian provider of waste extraction techniques for fish farms.
Located outdoors เกจวัดแรงดันแบบแห้ง on the west coast of Norway, LiftUP manufactures, sells and installs pumps and cleaning gear for the elimination of useless fish, waste and sludge from open fish cages. The compressed waste is stored in tanks that are shipped to a biogas facility, where it’s transformed to renewable vitality and a high-grade fertilizer.
The LiftUP system enhances Alfa Laval Framo’s AquaStream pumping system which brings up contemporary low temperature water with excessive oxygen levels (from round 25m depth) and creates an ideal sea current, providing conditions much like deep fjords.
LiftUP, which had revenues of NOK75 million in 2020, will now be a half of Alfa Laval’s Pumping Systems enterprise unit throughout the Marine Division.
