The Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) has launched the Qdos Conveying Wave Technology (CWT) pump which extends the capabilities of peristaltic pump technology and presents longer service life than conventional tube-based designs.
Qdos CWT pumps achieve their peristaltic motion by working a fluid contact factor that offers the same fundamental perform as the tube of a conventional peristaltic pump. As well as the elimination of vapour locking, the element delivers stable, dependable efficiency, even with fluctuations in ambient temperature and strain.
To obtain the peristaltic pumping action, the CWT pump head incorporates an EPDM component rather than a tube, which acts towards a PEEK track. The resulting fluid contact component is subjected to very low stress ranges, permitting the Qdos CWT to offer a longer service life.
Qdos CWT pumps supply high ranges of chemical dosing accuracy in water therapy functions. ไดอะแฟรม ซีล introduce chemical compounds, including sodium hypochlorite for post-chlorination cycles, without the need to overdose. pressure gauge 10 bar sealed CWT pump head delivers correct, linear and repeatable flow and could be very protected as it minimises operator exposure to chemicals.
