The new Parque das Baleias (Whale Park) floating manufacturing, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel which is heading to Brazil will be equipped with Sulzer water injection pumps.

Sulzer will provide four packaged pump units, which include a 9.7 MW motor, the 8-stage HPcp pump and all the auxiliary equipment required for the challenging offshore environment.
Due to be situated seventy seven km offshore from Espirito Santo, Brazil, the Whale Park FPSO will operate in 1,four hundred m deep waters, processing a hundred,000 barrels of oil and 5 million cubic metres of natural fuel per day. First oil on deck is targeted by 2024.
Sulzer has a long-standing relationship with the engineering procurement and development (EPC) company involved within the venture.
