Big voluntary participation at charity event at WIKA USA

Each day, more than 6000 children all over the world die of hunger-related diseases. Our colleagues from WIKA USA are determined to help reduce that number. The business?s largest volunteer effort up to now in the U.S. was the From Hunger to Hope MobilePack event this March in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
100 employees ? from เกจวัดแรงดัน to office and production employees ? spontaneously registered to pack meals for starving children across the world in two-hour shifts. WIKA USA was a Gold Sponsor, providing hundreds of volunteer hours and donating $50 per volunteer to aid the event. Stephanie Jones, director of employee relations for WIKA USA, was among the company?s 100 volunteers. Her first Hunger to Hope day was an experience she’d long remember: ?It had been emotionally very touching. When you fill a bag with vitamin powder, soy protein, rice, and dried vegetables, you truly see what will provide six meals for anyone who has nothing to eat. Each bag represents a child.?
WIKA has participated in this event before, but only with 50 employee volunteers. ?This time we had a lot more than 100 people who wished to volunteer?, Jones said. ?But as a manufacturing plant, we have on-time delivery goals. With a complete of 900 people in Lawrenceville, we decided we could spare about 100. We definitely had no issue filling those spots.? As a leader in measuring instruments and technology, WIKA USA is doubtlessly focused on customer satisfaction, employee education, and continuous improvement. And important is the dedication to an organization culture of social responsibility, a safe workplace, and a clean environment. To emphasize its spirit of unity and teamwork, WIKA USA has rallied round the slogan ?Better Together?.
