Trillium Flow Technologies is shopping for Termomeccanica Pompe SpA, the Italian engineered pump manufacturing firm that serves the power, desalination, water transmission and oil and gasoline markets.
The two companies have signed a joint agreement that will bring the Termomeccanica Pompe, Gabbioneta Pumps and Begemann brands together beneath the Trillium umbrella in Italy.
When the deal closes, La Spezia-based Termomeccanica will give attention to growing the ecological and fuel compression sectors, where its subsidiaries TME and TMIC operate.
Trillium, a portfolio firm of world personal equity funding firm First Reserve, is the former Weir Flow Control enterprise. The company is a global designer, manufacturer and aftermarket companies supplier of engineered valves and pumps used in the water and wastewater, global power generation, oil and fuel, mining, and basic course of industries.
